A house with a special story.

The Chalet Kerber is a traditional house with a special story: It was the first apartment house in Lech am Arlberg.

Susanna Kerber’s father built the house in 1960. Originally his tailoring business, which was well-known for his “Kerber” ski pants (“Keilhosen”), was located there. After a visit to Switzerland, he brought an idea back to Arlberg: renting apartments to vacationers. This explains the name: CHALET Kerber, which has been run as an apartment house since 1971.

His daughter has been running the house since 1999 and is still actively supported by her mother. They want to offer their guests “holidays for the body, mind and soul” and they make sure to pay attention to even the smallest detail. The holiday starts with a small welcome gift. This is a non-smoking house. However, we have our own room for smokers, which is heated in winter.
